Utilizing four central multi-core conductors made up of two identical pairs of OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) wire with 99.9997% purity, the Element Integra Duo offers a high performance alternative to our standard Element I/C.
By doubling the cross-sectional area of the conductors and employing a twisted pair construction within a further shielding layer, the Duo offers gains in both absolute sound quality and outstanding immunity to the external RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) and EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) generated by mobile phones, wi-fi networks, low voltage lighting, etc.
The Duo in its ‘unified’ single outer sheath not only allows us to offer improved performance but makes for easier cable management in a typical multiple-source system, reducing the typical ‘cable spaghetti’ which not only looks untidy but which can have an adverse effect on system noise and hum levels.
