A native of St. Louis, Mo., Charles Berry first moved to Atlanta in 1987 as a student entering Morehouse college. Graduating Morehouse with a degree in finance, Mr. Berry promptly moved to New York City and started working with Bank of New York as a financial analyst.
After moving back to Atlanta in 1997, Mr. Berry began working for Wachovia bank in their Investment Banking group.
As an entrepreneur, Mr. Berry launched C.E. Berry Janitorial in 2000. This business quickly grew into one of the largest commercial janitorial business in the city of Atlanta. With seasoned management in place, this company continues to thrive without much intervention by Mr. Berry - effectively freeing him up to take on and develop new businesses.
Mr. Berry is the sole owner of Layered Design LLC – the parent company for both Ligne Roset Atlanta and Sight+Sound Gallery.
Mr. Berry is married to Tonya Berry. They have two school aged children and reside in one of Atlanta’s classic in-town neighborhoods.
